Urban Green Space Exposure and Adolescent Mental Heal…
◵ ⋯Abstract
This review examines how exposure to urban green space relates to adolescent mental health. Access to neighbourhood greenery is associated with fewer depressive symptoms and greater well-being. This benefit is partly explained by attention restoration, in which natural settings ease mental fatigue and stress (Ohly et al., 2016). Longitudinal evidence further links residential green space to improved cognitive development in schoolchildren (Dadvand et al., 2015), suggesting effects that extend beyond mood to attention and learning. Taken together, the evidence points to neighbourhood greenery as a modifiable determinant of adolescent well-being (Ohly et al., 2016). These findings suggest that everyday access to neighbourhood greenery is a modifiable factor for adolescent mental health (Astell-Burt & Feng, 2019).

How it works
From blank page to cited draft in three steps
Collect real sources
Search hundreds of millions of papers, save the ones you'll actually read, and get an AI summary and relevance note for each.
Structure your thesis
Generate an editable chapter-and-section outline from your topic and research question — then shape it your way.
Draft, cite & export
Write each section grounded in your library, with in-text citations and a formatted bibliography in 10 styles — APA, MLA, Chicago, IEEE and more. Export to Word, PDF, LaTeX or Markdown.
Your whole thesis, drafted in one click
Autonomous draft plans a full disposition, writes every section grounded in your sources, adds the abstract last, and runs a self-review that fixes its own weak spots — then hands you a clean, cited draft to make your own.
- Plans chapters, sections and subsections before writing a word
- Writes every section cited from your real library — never invented
- Reviews itself against known failure classes and repairs quietly
Grounded drafting
Drafts that cite only your real sources
The draft assistant writes from the papers in your library and never invents a citation to fill a gap. Where no source backs a claim, it writes plain prose you can support yourself — no fake references, no placeholder clutter.
- In-text (Author, Year) citations from your library only
- Never fabricates a reference — uncited claims stay plain
- Editable rich-text — rewrite everything in your voice
Transfer learning consistently improves low-resource translation quality (Zoph et al., 2016). Back-translation offers a complementary gain (Sennrich et al., 2016), though its effect on morphologically rich languages is less settled — a point you can revisit once you add a source.
Research
Search 250M+ papers, not the open web
Find genuine, peer-reviewed sources through OpenAlex and Crossref. Save them to a per-project library and let AI summarize each one against your research question.
- Every result is a real, verifiable publication
- AI summary, key claims, and relevance per source
- Your notes stay attached to each source

Ask your sources
Chat with your library — and top AI models
Ask questions and get answers grounded in the papers you saved, cited to them. Pull real papers from the web mid-conversation, or switch to a frontier model — Claude, GPT, Gemini, Grok — when a question is hard.
- Answers cite only your library — or clearly flag when they don't
- Search real papers online without leaving the chat
- Pick the AI model that fits the task
Early studies used a spherical densiometer (Lemmon, 1956), while later work adopted hemispherical photography (Rich, 1990) for finer spatial resolution.
Editing
Improve the writing you already did
Paste text you wrote and get grammar, clarity, flow, tone, and concision suggestions — each with a short explanation you can learn from. It edits your words; it does not replace your argument.
- Accept or dismiss each suggestion
- Learn the why behind every change
- Great for writing in a second language

The results indicate that the method performs well.
